Hi! My name is Cora Fisher and I am the owner of Blazing Imaginations.

I started Blazing Imaginations back in my Junior year of high school at the age of 16. I have loved creating art since I was 5 years old. My love for art just continued and now I have made it into a small business. I have experimented with colored pencils, oil pastels, charcoals, acrylics, watercolors, chalk pastels, and wood burning. Out of all of these mediums, watercolor and wood burning called to me the most.

Wood burning is known as Pyrography. It is the art of burning beautiful designs into wood slabs or slices with a heated metallic point. I have a deep and personal connection to Pyrography because my great grand mother was very talented in this medium of art. I am now happily carrying down the tradition!

My inspiration comes from the love of the outdoors. I am an avid hiker, paddle boarder, rock climber, photographer, mountaineer, backpacker and skier. I originally grew up in Georgia but that did not stop me from creating beautiful mountain pieces and doing adventurous outdoor activities. I now get the opportunity to live in Idaho and thrive among the vast mountain scapes. It has allowed me to experience the outdoors more than ever before to perfect the beauty of nature in my pieces!
